One thing I can say, before we get on with this review of the prettiest Sheer Strength nail polish – in my opinion, is that the Barry M polishes never disappoint, and the brand was not about to do so with Sheer Bliss that I got a few months ago.

There’s something about the Barry M products that keeps me coming back for more.

Whether we’re talking about the lip liners or the Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints, it’s just…

So affordable, so pigmented, so good, that it’s a brand I know I can always rely on and would buy products from even if I didn’t see them in the flesh at Superdrug or Boots when I live in London.

A few months ago, when I was traveling in London, since I’m not currently living there (hopefully in a few months after I move from Paris to Rome mid-September!), I popped by several Superdrug stores in search of new products.

And I found many of them.

The Barry M Glazed Sheer range, for instance, along with lots of blue Gelly Hi-Shine colors and a couple of other products I’d been feeling like trying out, like the Nails Inc nail toppers.

I wasn’t that much into sheer nail polish at that point, but I have to admit that the 3×2 deal Superdrug had going on convinced me, and I fell utterly in love with that kind of product.

The Barry M Sheer Bliss nail polish applies like a dream, let’s start there.

There are few sheer pink nail polishes I own that glide so well, so easily, and so beautifully on the nail – one coat would be enough, but for the sake of future comparisons, I have swatched Sheer Bliss with two coats here.

When it comes to the lasting power, I can easily get 4 to 5 days without chipping with this one, provided I don’t touch water too much and stop opening cans with my bare nails.

What’s even more interesting, mind blowing even, is that the Sheer Bliss nail polish evens out so, so beautifully – I think that, in addition to the beautiful light mauve color, it’s what attracts me the most to this one.

PS. It’s perfect to combine with pretty much any type of fall lipstick shade, too!

If given the opportunity to purchase the Barry M Sheer Bliss nail polish again (Sheer Strength Hardening Nail Paint of its full name), I most definitely would.

Actually, when I purchased Sheer Bliss, I also got two other nude Barry M nail polishes from the same range; Sheer Joy and Sheer Style, which are more brown polishes than this one, truly mauve.

And it’s my favorite of the bunch – but since Barry M has since then released two more lighter pink polishes, I would love to try these ones too.

Even if I do know, deep down, that Sheer Bliss is the one I’d go back for time and time again, especially at that £4.49 price point.

Lately, I’ve been used to using the Essie sheer nail polishes more than any other colors, except maybe my teal nail polishes and other deeper purples, like Essie Ferris of Them All or Douglas Singular Mocassin.

After all, I’m still currently living in Paris, and the weather feels like summer has definitely ended – all I want is to wear dark on my nails!

But if you’re looking for a sophisticated, easy-to-apply and beautiful sheer nail polish, that’s a great one to have in your stash!
