Back when I started getting into makeup and nails, metallic nail polish was all the rage, and little by little, paved the way for other trends, like holographic and duochrome nails.
I’ve already reviewed a few Kiko Power Pro Nail Lacquer shades here, shades that I purchased a few months ago, but the nail polish we’re about to see together, I’ve had for a year or two.
If you’re into pastel nails, you might want to check out shades 237 Glimmering Petal Pink, 238 Lilac Whisper, 239 Minty Frost, and 240 Kiss the Sky, four of my favorite colors in this collection.
But for now, let’s see the bling with the Power Pro 29 Silver Green nail polish!

Here’s what Kiko says about the Power Pro Nail Lacquer range:
Professional-finish nail polish, available in 30 exclusive shades for a bright colour that lasts for up to 7 days.
Why Did I Buy Kiko Power Pro Nail Lacquer 29?
From time to time, I’ll come back to Kiko products and get obsessed with them – that’s what happened with the Power Pro Nail Lacquer 29, really.
If I remember well (it’s been a long time since I got it!), I just wanted to find a new magical shade; the same type of mindset I had when I got the Essence Holo Moly nail polish I recently told you about.
I thought that 29 Silver Green was one of the most interesting colors in the Power Pro Nail Lacquer range, which is otherwise made of a few pastels, one duochrome (20 Mermaid Pink) and lots of lacquered, classic colors.

Kiko Power Pro Nail Lacquer 29: Application and Thoughts
One coat would almost be enough to get a fully opaque result when using the Power Pro 29 Silver Green nail polish – swatched are two coats, so the glitter would show up better on the pictures.
I have very few glitter nail polish colors in my stash, few metallics, and not as many duochrome nail polishes as I would like – but this one literally ticks all the boxes.
The color, which oscillates between grey, green and blue, is so extra that I wear it pretty much any time of the year.
And since it’s a metallic/glitter type of texture, it is also very long lasting, even without top coat, as is usually the case with glitter nail polish.
This also means you need to work at it a bit more to remove it, but it barely leaves any glitter behind when removed.

Kiko Power Pro Nail Lacquer 29: Would I Buy Again?
Definitely – this is one of my favorite nail polish colors!
Since the Power Pro nail polishes retail for $6 in the US, and just under 5 euros in Europe, they’re some of the cheapest I currently own, and this one has everything you might be wishing for.
Pigmentation, easy to apply, fast drying and long lasting – the only reason why you shouldn’t get it is if you don’t like the color!

Metallic Nails: Kiko Power Pro Nail Lacquer 29 Silver Green Swatches
I literally cannot stop raving about the Kiko products.
Whether we’re talking about the 3D Hydra Lipgloss, the Smart Fusion lip liners or the Power Pro Nail Lacquers, Kiko Milano knows what they’re doing.
What I appreciate even more is that this specific range, and the Silver Green nail polish are permanent, unlike many of the brand’s prettiest products, usually released in limited edition collections.
However, if you’re more into classic colors, do check out two beautiful brown nail polishes I also love from Kiko Milano: 26 Reddish Mauve, and 234 Toffee Charm!
Until next time!
