This range of drugstore nail polishes I’m about to show you is currently one of my favorites, and while Revlon has released it quite some time ago, I didn’t know about it until last year.

Well, let’s just start by saying that the Ultra HD Snap nail polishes, with their colorful pill-shaped bottles, are simply overly cute.

With a vegan formula, an affordable price (about 8/9 pounds/euros/dollars a bottle) and a product that promises full coverage in just one coat, the Ultra HD Snap nail polishes come in over 20 colors, and I have 9 to show you today.

Here’s what Revlon says about the Ultra HD Snap nail polish range:

Finally there’s a 1-coat full coverage nail color that’s quick drying, easy to apply, and isn’t made with all those controversial ingredients. Paint on the 100% vegan, 20-Free* nail enamel and get a vibrant manicure and pedicure that’s dry in a snap!

Revlon Ultra HD Snap Nail Polish: Presentation

These are the 9 colors I’ll be showing you today:

A few months after I purchased my first colors from the range, Revlon then released brighter spring and summer nail polishes in shades of yellow, pink, orange…

I don’t have these ones, and since my favorite shades are usually fall nail polishes, these are the ones I mostly focused on when I made my color choices.

What’s interesting in the Ultra HD Snap range is that all the colors are lacquered; no duochrome, no holographic or metallic: the colors are full and all feel somewhat sophisticated, from the deepest red to the brightest pink nail polish.

Grounded, Cherry on Top, Berry Blissed, Rule the World

Revlon Ultra HD Snap in 033 Grounded

The Grounded nail polish is one of the darkest colors in the Ultra HD Snap range; a deep, greyish purple which applies fully opaque in one to two coats.

It is one of the first two colors I got from the range, and wore it a lot last year during the cold months. It looks amazing with either white nail polish or some type of gold, like Essie Buy Me a Cameo.

Or, you can use it as a base for sheer duochrome nail polishes, like the Douglas Sea Witch nail polish, which I’ve been loving lately.

Revlon Ultra HD Snap in 030 Cherry on Top

Cherry on Top is a bright red nail polish with a slight blue undertone – the kind you can wear from spring to the dead of winter.

I don’t usually wear it in combination with anything else: red nails are sophisticated and statement enough on their own.

However, I have used it in the past for bright nail designs using a white nail polish, the green Barry M Pear nail polish for contrast, and Barry M Tangerine, one of the prettiest orange colors you’ll ever find – it just looked amazing, punchy and fresh!

Revlon Ultra HD Snap in 029 Berry Blissed

Berry nail polish is one of my favorite colors to wear whatever time of the year, and Berry Blissed offers enough brightness that you can literally wear it from spring to fall.

I think it’s one of the best colors in the Ultra HD Snap range, as much for its pigmentation as for its deep yet wearable purple-ish hue.

Revlon Ultra HD Snap in 028 Rule the World

Rule the World is a bright pink nail polish with a strong blue undertone; it would almost be fuchsia if it had more purple in the color.

While it really is that bright and that cool-toned a shade of pink, I’ve found myself wearing it quite a lot, especially for pedis, and loving it.

Red and Real, Basic, Bright Side

Revlon Ultra HD Snap in 014 Red and Real

Red and Real is the perfect fall nail polish; a mix between red and brown that slightly leans towards burgundy.

Much redder than, say, Essie Angora Cardi, and great whether you have fair olive skin or dark skin.

Revlon Ultra HD Snap in 013 Basic

Basic is a mid tone brown nail polish with very slight pink undertones, which means that if you have cool or olive skin and would like a brown without any type of warm undertones, that’s a great one to have.

It incidentally is one of my favorites from the bunch – applies really well, quickly opaque, fast-drying… Love it.

Revlon Ultra HD Snap in 003 Bright Side

Bright Side is a lime green nail polish which applies opaque in one to two coats – really an amazing spring nail color which I also love for summer and fall.

Daredevil and Get Real

Revlon Ultra HD Snap in 023 Daredevil

Since petrol blue, Prussian blue and other types of dark teal colors are some of my favorites in life, one can expect I would love the Ultra HD Snap Daredevil nail polish.

And I do.

This is one of the most sophisticated colors in the range, and amazing for nail designs using the green Bright Side nail polish we’ve just seen.

Revlon Ultra HD Snap in 016 Get Real

Get Real was one of the first nail polishes I got from the range along with the deep purple Grounded. And it just so happens to be another favorite.

Periwinkle blue nail polish is simply a vibe whatever the season, and this one is so pigmented, smooth and elegant that, well – of course it’s one I love.

PS. Absolutely great to wear in fall nail designs with the soft burgundy Red and Real – unexpected and beautiful with some type of white nail polish, like Essie Blanc, Nails Inc Find Me in Fulham or Barry M Cotton.

Revlon Ultra HD Snap Nail Polish: Thoughts

I didn’t know Revlon released new Ultra HD Snap colors until a few days ago, and am thinking of getting at least a yellow, an orange and maybe another kind of pink from the range.

The one-coat promise is kept; these are really that pigmented.

There are periods during which I need to change my nails every couple of days, and when nail polishes dry fast and only require one coat, well, that’s the best.

If your nails are long, you will probably need two coats, but since these dry super fast, I’ve found it’s not really an issue.

9 Gorgeous Revlon Ultra HD Snap Nail Polish Swatches

revlon ultra hd snap nail polish swatches and review

I only have good thoughts about the Ultra HD Snap collection – first of all, I’ve found chipping to be minimal for quite a few days when avoiding to touch water and/or wearing a top coat with them.

Then, the range of colors, with different undertones to suit any taste and skin tone is something I appreciate a lot.

Lastly, that price – of course, budget adds up when you get as many bottles of nail polish as I do, but the Ultra HD Snap polishes are, in my opinion, definitely worth every cent!

Until next time!
